WAS HE SINCERE OR NOT? SHOULD WE CARE?
I was one of the millions, obviously, who watched Tiger Woods' televised apology yesterday and, like others, I watched again a couple of more times just to see if my first reaction would stick....and it did. I know it was somewhat orchestrated and very controlled. I know it was Tiger reading from a piece of paper. I know there were to be no questions. So I listened and watched. And I listened and watched....AND I listened and watched. Three times. Same reaction. The man did what he needed to do for us, the viewing and listening public. He has no responsibility to us beyond that. He apologized;he took full blame and responsibility;he knows that he let everyone down. I'm satisfied with that. And we ALL should be. What drove me crazy (and being in the media, it was somewhat embarassing to watch and hear) were all the "reactions" and "analysis" of what each "expert" thought of this. Enough! Let's now move on and pray that the man can get his life straight, turn himself around and, most of all, become that family man he said he wants to be. What happens now is between Tiger, his wife and the rest of his family. It is no one else's business. How about we nake sure our own live's are headed in the right direction?

Well first I would like to say that things like this happen each and every day. The only differance is the fact that Tiger has lots of the green stuff we call money so that makes him an "icon" therefore privy to media exposure. There are many other cases of which things like this happen, but you dont see those plastered all over the news in newspapers, ect. People say these things are posted to protect their children from having a bad role models. Well, if the media wouldnt plaster it everywhere the children wouldnt have their dreams of being a pro golfer, in the NBA, NFL, NHL, or any other activity completely crushed. Tiger is human just like each and everyone of us, and if we cheat, its not thrown on our kids. His poor kids are going to see all of this stuff, some of the truth, and A LOT of fabricated facts. Parents say R rated movies and MA rated video games are turning their children into bad adults and future inmates, well here is a big news flash.... The NEWS has far worse crimes, murders, fabrications, scandles, ect than any movie or game I have ever seen.
How can Elin let things go when everytime she turns around people are finding something horrible to say. Everyone needs to leave them alone to even give them a chance to work things out. They deserve the same privacy we all deserve. Give them a chance people!
